Bucket List
I asked Aaron to think about some things that he would like to do before he leaves on his mission. The only thing he could come up with was to take a trip to the Salt Lake Temple and do an endowment session there. What an amazing young man to request such a thing. Today was the day--and to have big brother Michael there was a bonus.

Elder Hoggan's Missionary (non) Farewell
Aaron gave a great talk on the Restoration. Our entire family was asked to sing "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" after he spoke, with Aaron singing the final verse in Russian. It was a great meeting, followed by a luncheon served at our home with Borscht and Russian Black Bread on the menu. Many, many thanks to all the family and friends who came and supported Aaron, including his future Mission President (and his mom's cousin) Steve & Polly Petersen.
